The Jacksons continue on in a consultancy role within the business. Advising on the particulars of preferred materials and design considerations. The day to day operation of the business are now handled by Brandon. Coming from a family of drapery tradesmen, Valancing Act was exactly the life pivot Brandon had envisioned. His grandparents started their own family business in east Los Angeles in the 1950s. Grandma sowed the draperies. Grandpa sold the services and handled the crew.
It was after talking with former customers of the Valancing Act that Brandon decided to reach out. There are a lot of people who can make and install draperies. It was important to Brandon that he stepped into an existing culture of excellence and customer care.
